It was great to present my summer research at the conclusion of the University of Iowa's 2023 Computational Bioengineering Research Experience for Undergraduates. My work examined how the movement of soft tissue between markers and bone can effect data generated in optical motion capture studies.
Tremendous thanks to Dr. Rachel Vitali (UIowa Department of Mechanical Engineering) for her wonderful mentorship, and to everyone at UI for such a fantastic research experience.

Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting, Seattle, WA, October 2023

I was grateful for the opportunity to present my simulation study again at the Biomedical Engineering Society's Annual Meeting. It was wonderful to see the depth and breadth of bioengineering research; I learned so much from everyone I met. I'm excited to see how the bioengineering field grows in the future.
